- Description
- NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Glenn Engineering andScientific Support Contract 3 (GESS 3). These requirements include technical tasks insupport of GRC Directorates (aeronautics, exploration systems, engineering, spacescience, space propulsion and space operations, among others.) GRC anticipates awarding a hybrid contract with a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Base and aCost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) IDIQ element. The period of performance will be a three (3)year base and one two (2) year option. This procurement is a total small business 8(a) set-aside. As part of the 8(a) program,SBA approved 8(a) Joint Ventures, and SBA approved 8(a) Mentor-Protg teamingarrangements are included. Please see the links below to a sample Joint VentureAgreement, and checklist. Please be advised only SBA APPROVED 8(a) Joint Ventures andSBA APPROVED 8(a) Mentor-Protg teaming arrangements will be eligible. Industry Day istentatively scheduled for the week of April 11, 2011 and registration instructions willbe provided at the time of Draft RFP. The anticipated release date of the final Requestfor Proposal (RFP) is on May 10, 2011 with an anticipated offer due date of on or aboutJune 29, 2011.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Telephone questions will not be accepted.
