- AMENDMENT 1 This is to provide clarification to questions submitted in response to the subject RFQ. SF18 form, top of page 2: the correct RFQ No. is NS_20110303 Question 1: In the Statement of Work, section D. Scope of Work Are the number of hours listed the total number of hours for the 2-4 (or so listed) consultants or total number of hours for each consultant? Answer: The number of hours listed under each labor category in the SOW represents the total number of hours for the work, whcih may be divided among multiple consultants. Question 2: Please clarify as to what is being requested for "Proposed IP arrangement". Answer: The IP arrangements will be negotiated with the institution that initiated the project, not with the NIH. At this stage, the NIH/NINDS would simply like to know from potential consultants whether they have particular expectations or standard policies regarding assignment of rights and royalties. The NINDS is looking to see whether these are consisted with the goal of NINDS' program, which is to help researchers who have initiated drug development projects ultimately bring them to the market/ patient community.
