- Response Date: May 3, 2011@2:00pm Eastern - The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) wishes to procure the services of a firm for the design and construction of a new water distribution system to the east of 6th Street at the Gary Job Corps Center. The work shall also include miscellaneous site repairs to general landscaping, roads, parking, drainage, reconnection of all domestic and fire protection water taps, repair or replacement of all mandated fire hydrants, removal of the existing water tower, removal of fence surrounding the tower, and removal of Structure 8-303, Radio Relay Building. This firm must qualify under the Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) Small Business Programs as indicated in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. THE EXTENT OF THE WORK WILL BE DESCRIBED IN THE SOLICITATION WHEN IT IS POSTED ON March 25, 2011. NO OTHER INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE BEFORE THE SOLICITATION IS POSTED. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million.
