- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Leonard Wood, on behalf of the BCC Library AS G&S at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, 65473., intends to award a sole source contract, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii), based on the fact that only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intended source for the award (and incumbent) for this action is Sirsi Corporation, located at 400 Dynix Drive, Provo, Utah, 84604-5650. Sirsi Corporation, (hereafter "Sirsi") will provide continued support for Software and Maintenance. Sirsi shall provide the Government with software application and enhancements to the BCC Library AS G&S, application as well as design, development, documentation and plans for sustaining the BCC Library AS G&S application to support the library. The Period of Performance (POP) for this Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract will be one year (12 months). The place of performance will be Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri at the Governments' site. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document or RFP for competitive proposals to follow and no phone calls will be accepted. The point of contact for this posting is Mr. Robert Meekie, Contract Specialist at robert.meekie@us.army.mil. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a Capability Statement to Mr. Robert Meekie via e-mail no later than 15 March 2011; 16:00 pm EST. A determination to compete or not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
