- This pre-solicitation notice is for construction services to install a new 10,000-gallon dual-compartment fiberglass septic tank in series with an existing septic tank. Work will include removing a manhole, removal/abandonment of unused sewer lines, risers baffle and effluent filter and deadmen for new tank; and installation of a 4-inch pipe between the new tank and the existing tank. The construction will be performed on the Hoh Indian Reservation near Forks, WA in Jefferson County. This will be a contract with a federal agency, the Indian Health Service. Although a federal contract, contractor will need to meet the requirements of the local Tribe, as well, such as TERO, permits, or fees. The estimated project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The anticipated performance of period will be 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. The anticipated contract will be firm-fixed price. Bonding will be required. The contract will be subject to the Buy American Act for construction materials. This contract opportunity is set-aside for small business. NAICS code is 237110. Small business size standard is $33.5 Million. Registration is required at Central Contractor Registration (online at www.ccr.gov) and completion of Online Representations and Certifications. This is a pre-solicitation notice. A request for quotes with specifications will be released on www.fbo.gov on or around March 4, 2011.
