- This solicitation is to obtain trash removal and recycling services for the McNamara Federal Building, 477 Michigan Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, materials and equipment to provide dumpster pick-up and delivery, trash removal and recycling services as detailed in scope of work, specifications and drawings. The purpose of this solicitation is to provide trash removal and recycling services to GSA and its client agencies. The Contractor will determine the proper work methods to accomplish assignments concerned with the removal of trash and separation to the maximum extent possible, with all office and building waste that is recyclable. The estimate price is between $25,000 and $150,000. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS is 562111 with size standard of $12.5 million. The term of the contract is one (1) base year, and four (4), one (1) year options. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2011. This acquisition is a commercial negotiated procurement, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 15. Proposals will be evaluated on price and price related factors only. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 11, 2011. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 10 am. The date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. Anticipated award date is on or before June 24, 2011. In order to obtain the solicitation documents, contractors must be registered at both the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) websites. IMPORTANT: No Federal material can be downloaded until registration has been completed at both sites. Those interested may gain access to FedTeDS by first registering with Central Registration (CCR) at 'http://www.ccr.gov', (you must have a valid DUNS number issued by Dun and Bradstreet to register). Contractors will obtain a CCR Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) and CAGE Code after registering successfully. After registration in CCR, please visit the FedTeDS website at 'http://www.fedteds.gov'. You will then be required to access the vendor registration form by selecting the hyperlink entitled "Register with FedTeDS" and then choosing the "Vendor Registration Form" hyperlink. You will be required to enter your CCR MPIN and CAGE code or DUNS number to receive a user name and password for FedTeDS. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FedBizOpps and FedTeDS for possible amendments and/or additional information. All vendors will be required in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as part of the proposed submission. You may access ORCA via the following site, 'www.orca,bpn.gov'. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA.
