- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The VA Puget Sound Healthcare System intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) on FBO. The NAICS code assigned to this contract is 562219 Other Nonhazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal. The business standard is $6.0 million. DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall collect, dispose, sanitize and replace reusable sharps containers throughout the VA Medical Center (VAMC), 500 W. Fort Street, Boise, ID. Contractor shall provide resistant sharps containers for lease and provide for a one-day per week, regular collection and disposal of sharps waste from the premises. "Sharps Waste" shall include hypodermic needles, syringes and scalpel blades. The term does not include any hazardous waste, radioactive waste or pharmaceuticals. This Solicitation will be posted on FBO for interested vendors on or about 11 March 2011. **PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE**
