- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Puget Sound has a requirement for one (1)Shape Abrasive Blast Machine for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS)and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF). The solicitation is not available at this time. The solicitation will be posted on the NECO website on or about 31 March 2011. The contractor shall design, manufacture and install a Shape Abrasive Blast Machine. Requirements include removal of existing equipment to be disposed of by the Government. This requirement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside (SBSA). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using commercial acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13.5. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. A site visit will be held. Details will be provided in the solicitation. A solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for the inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX request will be accepted and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. The solicitation is not available at this time.
