- Fort Bliss has two parcels of land available for sale. These parcels, totaling approximately 1,000 acres, are severable from the main installation. The Department of Army, Fort Bliss, is hosting an event on March 24, 2011, at 0800 hrs. that will be facilitated by the National Association of Home Builders. This is an event for informational purposes only and bids will not be accepted. The City of El Paso will be present to discuss incentives and other support available for this development. Prospective development could include business-technology park/s, commercial, light industrial, residential, intermodal transportation, and potential expansion of the El Paso Foreign Trade Zone and inland port.
