- Description
- Modification No. 2 The purpose of this amendment is: (1) To revise Section C of the RFP to reflect the newly updated list of focus countries in Asia which have been identified as part of US Government's global LEDS initiative. All references to China and Thailand in connection with LEDS are omitted, and Cambodia has been added to Table 1; (2) To replace certain terminology used in the RFP. The term "measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV)," which is considered a sensitive term in international climate negotiations, is replaced with the neutral term "greenhouse gas accounting, reporting, and verification" (or "GHG accounting" for short); (3) To replace the initiative name "Support Services for Low Emissions Development" with its new name "Enhancing Capacity for Low Emission Development Strategies"; (4) to make two further minor revisions to the RFP as detailed in Attachment 1; and (5) to extend the due date for submissions of proposals under this RFP from March 17, 2011 to March 24, 2011.
