- Notice to Contractors: Air Force Mortuary Affairs Offices Embalming Supplies Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The United States Air Force has a requirement for embalming supplies (instruments) and chemicals. The embalming chemicals will be by brand name only (The Dodge Company), details will be posted with solicitation, all other supplies are brand name or equal. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 339112. The period of performance will be from 30 June 2011 through 29 June 2016. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. This requirement is for a firm-fixed price on a blanket purchase agreement for 5 years. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Offers shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The solicitation notice will be posted on or about 21 March 2011.
