Description

Sole Source Justification and Certification This is a notice of intent for the proposed negotiation of a sole source contract with Seven Corners Inc., 303 Congressional Blvd., Carmel, IN. This sole source acquisition will be accomplished under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Peace Corps. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The purpose of this requirement is to provide a self insured health benefits program for Peace Corps pre-applicants/volunteers/post-volunteers for a 3 month period of performance. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract. It does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
