- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG80-11-Q-PHTCX2 and is a Request for Quotations. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48. This request for quotations is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 333415 and the corresponding size standard is 1,000 employees. The government anticipates awarding one firm fixed price purchase order for this work. The order will be awarded based on price using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Vendors should include warranty terms and conditions and prompt payment discounts with their quote. Vendors are reminded to submit their Representations and Certifications in accordance with FAR clause 52.212-3. This acquisition is for Carrier Parts. The purchase order placed as a result of this solicitation will include the following items: Item 1, 4, EA, Carrier P/N 90C02-6342-01, NSN 4130-01-537-3507, Condenser, Refrigeration Item 2, 4, EA, Carrier P/N 90C02-6342-02, NSN 4130-01-537-3527, Condenser, Refrigeration Delivery shall be FOB Destination to CG NESU Portsmouth, USCG NESU Portsmouth (LST), 4000 Coast Guard Boulevard, Portsmouth, VA 23703-2199. The government anticipates receiving the components to the vessel on May 1, 2011. The government anticipates awarding a purchase order on or about March 25, 2011. Inspection and Acceptance shall also be at destination. Faxed and e-mailed quotes are being accepted. Faxed quotes may be sent to 757-628-4562, and e-mailed quotes may be sent to douglas.g.landau@uscg.mil. Contractors are responsible for verifying receipt of their quotes. All responsible sources interested in responding to this request for quotations must respond no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on March 18, 2011.
