- SOLICITATION NUMBER IS CHANGED TO SPM4A6-11-R-1098 PR IQC10176009069, NSN 5970-00-612-8492. Insulation Tape Electrical in accordance with specification Mil-I-19166C. QPL APPLIES. Unit of issue is FT. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Firm Fixed Price with one base year plus four option years. Solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted acquisition under the procedures of Full & Open Competition. Surge & Sustainment requirements do not apply. Cost and pricing data is not required. Progress payments will not be included. For 5970-00-612-8492, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 84 EA for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 21 EA. The Maximum Annual Contract Quantity is 168 EA for the base and each option year. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 21/84 EA. TOTAL PRICE IS BASED ON THE MAXIMUM CONTRACT VALUE FOR ALL 5 YEARS. A subcontracting plan will may be required. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination. Quantity Variance is plus or minus 0%. Required delivery is 62 days ARO. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. DLA-Direct delivery will be to New Cumberland, PA & Tracy, CA only. This item is a critical application item but not a Critical Safety Item. The solicitation will be issued on October 25, 2010 with a closing date of November 24, 2010.
