- The Marine Corps Systems Command-Quantico, VA intends to execute a $50,000,000 increase to the current contract ceiling on contract M67854-05-D-6014 with General Dynamics Ornance and Tactical Systems, 11399 16th Court N., St. Petersburg, FL to provide the Expeditionary Fire Support Systems/Internally Transportable Vehicle (EFSS/ITV) system in support of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF). This contract was solicited and awarded competitively. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. EFSS/ITV contract provides the MAGTF an expeditionary mode of operations which provides the primary indirect fire support system for the vertical assault element of the ship-to-objective maneuver (STOM) force. The EFSS/ITV provides a range of V-22 internally transportable vehicles, mortar weapon and ammunition trailers to fill light strike and utility roles in support of the STOM. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. All interest and capability statements received within 10 days after the date of this publication will be considered by the Government; however, no contract will be awarded in response to this notice. The increase in the contract ceiling will be issued to satisfy the agencys need during the remaining period of contract performance.
