- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source purchase order using the simplified acquisition process to Wind River Systems, 500 Wind River Way, Alameda, California 94501-1171. The purchase is for One (1) ea. License Number 206543 & 71252 Support and Maintenance Renewal of Wind River Workbench 2.6.1 for VX Works 6.5 (includes VX Works Binaries) Perpetual Floating P/N 535-103796; Two (2) ea. License Number 206543 & 71252 Support and Maintenance Renewal of Wind River Workbench 2.6.1 for VX Works 6.5 (includes VX Works Binaries) Perpetual, Node Locked, P/N 535-103796.;One (1) ea. License 206543 & 71252 Support and Maintenance Renewal of Wind River Work Bench VX Works 6.5 OEM License Power PC MPC74XX. P/N 535-103796. Currently, Wind River Systems is the only manufacturer of VX Works in the configuration required to support the LCAC C4N Software Support Activity. This acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition as the Government does not own the technical data packages or specifications to compete the procurements. The items requested have been tested, certified, and approved for Navy Use and are the only known items that fulfill the LCAC C4N use requirements. Although other manufacturers or equipment providers may supply this type of software, they have not been tested or certified for use in the LCAC. Therefore, to ensure operational capability and compatibility with other LCAC components, purchase action must be limited to Wind River Systems. In accordance with FAR 13.5, a firm fixed price type award is anticipated. Delivery will be via electronic download. NAICS Code 511210 applies, FSC is 7030. SBA size standard is $25 Million.
