- Description
- In accordance with FAR Part 5.207, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for commercial support services. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency On-Site European Operations (DTRA-OSE) will be relocating from its current location in Darmstadt, Germany to Kaiserslautern, Germany. Particular tasks on this contract when awarded shall require support services during May 15, 2011 - June 30, 2011. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency has a need to acquire the following services from the Contractor: The Contractor shall provide inventory management, transportation, design, assembly and disassembly of Herman Miller systems modular furniture located at the Darmstadt facility and relocate all furniture and associated equipment to the Kaiserslautern facility to be reassembled and delivered to its final rooms and locations. This relocation will be based off design drawings. The Contractor shall submit a design package. The design package will include but not be limited to a complete inventory of all furniture within the Darmstadt facility. Each modular unit within a particular office will be identified by its current room number. The design package will further include a complete design layout for placement of all furniture at the Kaiserslautern facility. The Contractor shall provide professional moving services, moving vehicles and provide packing materials, pack up and safely deliver all items removed from the Darmstadt facility and deliver those items to the Kaiserslautern facility. The movers are also required to deliver pre-packaged boxes to their appropriate room locations at the Kaiserslautern facility. Site Visits to both facilities Darmstadt and Kaiserslautern are encouraged during the week of April 4-8, 2011. The Government will make an award to the responsive, responsible firm, whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. This award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. A Request for Quote (RFQ) is anticipated to be released on or about March 11, 2011. Potential Offerors shall be responsible for obtaining the RFQ and related amendments, if any, from www.fbo.gov after the RFQ has been published. Only Contractors located in Germany will be considered. Please note that at the time of Quote submission offerors shall be: -Registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
