- This announcement is for information purposes only. An Indefinite- Delivery/Requirements Contract with Firm-Fixed Unit Prices for repair services in support of the RVR-NG system for the following 4 line items: 1) Visibility Sensor Receiver Head, P/N 470R-7001, NSN 6030-01-443-3803; 2) Visibility Sensor Transmitter Head, P/N 470R-7002, NSN 6030-01-443-3808; 3) Ambient Light Sensor Head, P/N 470L-7001, NSN 6030-01-443-3817 and 4) Calibration Device, P/N 470R-7003, NSN 6625-01-472-7353, was awarded to Vaisala Inc., Louisville, CO under contract number DTFAAC-11-D-00037. The RVR-NG system is an automated computer controlled measurement and monitoring system reporting visibility conditions existing on the airports runways to the Air Traffic Controllers. The contract award was the result of a single source action under solicitation number DTFAAC-07-R-56627, announced on April 24, 2007. The total potential value of the contract is $1,780,600.00 (base plus all options). The period of performance includes a base contract period and four one-year options which may be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA.
