- This is a Sources Sought Notice. Joint Task Force GTMO, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba is seeking qualified vendors for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) service type contract for cable television services to nineteen (19) cable boxes in various locations through out the JTF area. The JTF will require all 8 Armed Forces Network basic channels as well as FOX News, CNN, Headline News, The Weather Channel, CSPAN and the Pentagon Channel. Picture quality and sound shall be clear and free on interferences fuzz and static. The contractor shall provide maintenance in a timely manner within eight (8) hours once notified of a problem with the cable television system by the appointed Contracting Representative. The contractor shall notify the JTF, to perform any type of action to the cable system. The anticipated posting date of this solicitation is on or before 14 MARCH 2011 with a closing date on or about 29 MARCH 2011. All capability statements sent in response to this notice must be submitted, electronically (via email), to peter.j.stambersky@jtfgtmo.southcom.mil. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please submit them in writing no later than 29 MAR 2011
