Description

This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract using other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of FAR 6.302 to Staar Surgical Co., Monrovia, CA, for the intraocular (IOL) implantable contact lens for treatment of myopia and other refractive eye errors. No compatables or substitutes accepted. Performance for this contract will be at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Interested parties may may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses are due not later than 2:00 p.m. EST 11 March 11 to sandra.z.bulls@us.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accpted
