- Description
- Project 568-11-116, Replace Boiler Water Treatment Equipment. This project consists of replacement of the existing water softener system and related equipment at the Central Heating Plant, Bldg. 137, VA Medical Center, Fort Meade, South Dakota. Work also includes replacement of an existing control air compressor, related electrical work, and other miscellaneous repairs. Award of this project will be in accordance with Public Law (PL) 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2006. It is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Effective October 1, 2010 all SDVOSB's must be registered in the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database, as well as VERIFIED by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) PRIOR to receiving an award under the program. This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS: 238220, Sz Std: $14 million, P&S: Z-242.
