- The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California intends to award a firm-fixed price, woman owned small business contract; the government will geographically set-aside this requirement for Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. This forecasted geographical set-aside solicitation, FA4610-11-R-0023 is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13 C.F.R. part 127, -The Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Assistance Procedures. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the size standard is $14.0M, and the project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, tools, plans, designs, management and labor necessary replace chiller and computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units in facility 11439. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with all applicable construction industry standard and established federal, state, local, and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulatory requirements. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 18 March 2011. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base via website: http://www.ccr.gov, and must provide proof of Woman owned Small Business certifications and have completed the online Representations and Certification at website: https://orca.bpn.gov. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. This project is based on the assumption that funding will be available. However, currently there are no funds available for this project. "The contractor acknowledges funds are not currently available to award this project as a contract and understands an award will be based on future availability of funds. The contractor agrees to hold the government harmless of any costs incurred with the proposal process, including negotiations, if applicable. The contractor further agrees that a negotiated cost for the project shall remain as an agreed to cost for the project for a period of one year from the date of agreement."
