- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The work required under this acquistion is to disassembly of the transformer, cleaning, inspection of the existing core, design, fabrication, assembly, testing and delivery of a copper conductor, vacuume pressure impregnated replacement coils installed on the existing core and reusing the existing enclosure of a 1000 kVA dry type transformer as stated on the attached Specifications. The solicitation is restricted to 100% set aside small business. The solicitation is issued via internet only on Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov. Prospective contractors may access this website to download the solicitation and amy amendments. Quotations are due on 11 March 2011.
