- Description
- The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the operation of a National Atmospheric Deposition Program, National Trends Network (NADP-NTN) wet atmospheric monitoring station located at Sagehen Creek Station, Nevada County, California. The work to be performed is in accordance with the National Trends Network Site Operations Manual (heep://madp.sws.uiuc.edu/lib/manuals/opman.pdf). This service is known to be provided only by Mr. Faerthen Felix as the only provider of the service as the station will not grant permission for an outside for-profit organization to access and operate the. The USGS is aware of no other source that can provide the above service. Therefore, it intends to make an award to Mr. Faerthen Felix, unless it is contacted by any vendor who believes he can provide the same service and is able to gain access to the equipment located on this property. Vendors are invited to contact the Contracting Officer at vfloyd@usgs.gov no later than 03/04/2011 with an affirmative answer.
