Description
SCOPE OF WORK FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF PROJECTORS, PROJECTOR'S BRACKET AND MOTORIZED RECESSED CEILING SCREENS Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials including wires/cables to install Projectors, Projector's mount/bracket and motorized screens (to be recessed into the ceiling) for a total of 7 projectors and 7 motorized recessed screens to be distributed in the following spaces: 1) Command conference room (RM 258) a Mitsubishi WD620U 4000 lumens DLP projector and a Vutec motorized projector screen model LII50X90MW with screen size of 8' or equivalent that meet or exceed 2) Conference room 1 (RM 153) a Mitsubishi WD620U 4000 lumens DLP projector and a Vutec motorized projector screen model LII50X90MW with screen size of 8'or equivalent that meet or exceed 3) Conference room 2 (RM 238) a Mitsubishi WD620U 4000 lumens DLP projector and a Vutec motorized projector screen model LII50X90MW with screen size of 8' or equivalent that meet or exceed 4) Industrial Building Conference room (RM 117) a Mitsubishi WD620U 4000 lumens DLP projector and a Vutec motorized projector screen model LII45X80MW with screen size of 6' or 7' or equivalent that meet or exceed The following areas are combined and will also need to have a total of 15 Revere 70volt 8" speakers model B8RA5 with tile brackets, Speco technologies amplifier model PBM30 and a Speco technologies volume control with model WAT50 or equivalent that meet or exceed 1) General Mess Deck needs two Mitsubishi WD620U 4000 lumens DLP projector and a Vutec motorized projector screen model LII65X116BW with screen size of 10'or equivalent that meet or exceed 2) Wardroom a Mitsubishi WD620U 4000 lumens DLP projector and a Vutec motorized projector screen model LII65X116BW with screen size of 10'or equivalent that meet or exceed SCOPE OF WORK FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF PROJECTORS, PROJECTOR'S BRACKET AND MOTORIZED RECESSED CEILING SCREENS (cont.) Contractor is required to conduct a sight visit prior to submitting bid. Site visit is to be scheduled and completed prior to 9 March, 2011 with point of contacts MKCS Isidro Cartagena or CWO Joseph Robinson listed below at CG BSU New Orleans 1790 Saturn Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70129. All Projectors will be connected to a PC (PC provided by the Coast Guard). Installation of equipment shall be in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. All equipment shall meet or exceed required specifications Contractor must be able to provide written warranty for work in their submitted quote, and must also be registered on CCR.gov (government contractor site). Contractor shall be responsible for site cleanup, remove and properly dispose of all waste debris in accordance with all state and federal laws or regulations. (a) The following certification shall be checked: Certification The offeror ❏ does ❏ does not certify that- - (1) The items of equipment to be serviced under his contract are commercial items which are used regularly for other than Government purposes, and are sold or traded by the Contractor in substantial quantities to the general public in the course of normal business operations; (2) The contract services are furnished at prices which are, or are based on, established catalog or market prices for the maintenance, calibration, and/or repair of certain information technology, scientific and medical and/or office and business equipment. An "established catalog price" is a price list, schedule, or other verifiable and established record that is regularly maintained by the manufacturer or the Contractor and is either published or otherwise available for inspection by customers. An "established market price" is a current price, established in the course of ordinary and usual trade between buyers and sellers free to bargain, which can be substantiated by data from sources independent of the manufacturer or Contractor; and (3) The Contractor utilizes the same compensation (wage and fringe benefits) plan for all service employees performing work under the contract as the Contractor uses for equivalent employees servicing the same equipment of commercial customers. (b) If a negative certification is made and a Service Contract Act wage determination is not attached to the solicitation, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer as soon as possible. (c) Failure to execute the certification in paragraph (a) of this clause or to contact the Contracting Officer as required in paragraph (b) of this clause may render the bid or offer nonresponsive. *52.223-5 Pollution Prevention and Right-to-Know Information. (a) Executive Order 13148 of April 21, 2000, requires Federal facilities to comply with the provisions of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) (42 U.S.C. 11001-11050) and the Pollution Prevention Act of 1990 (PPA) (42 U.S.C. 13109). (b) The Contractor shall provide all information needed by the Federal facility to comply with the emergency planning reporting requirements of Section 302 of EPCRA, the emergency notice requirements of Section 304 of EPCRA, the list of Material Data Safety Sheets required by Section 311 of EPCRA, the emergency and hazardous chemical inventory forms of section 312 of EPCRA, and the toxic chemical release inventory of Section 313 of EPCRA, which includes the reduction and recycling information required by Section 6607 of PPA.
