- The Defense Threat Reduction intends to award a sole-source contract with Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services, Inc for Maintenance of Liebert UPS System including the Power Distribution Units and an uninterrupted Power Supply. The requirement is for the vendor to provide unlimited remedial maintenance with a 4 hour response time, 24 hours/day, and 7 days/week. The determination to sole source was made because Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services, Inc is the only authorized provider to maintain Liebert brand equipment. The Government intends to procure this requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received within 5 business days of this notice an award will be made without further notice. Oral communication is not acceptable in response to this notice.
