- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This request for information is issued by the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), or a promise to issue a formal solicitation. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this sources sought and all costs associated with responding will be solely at the interested parties expense. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of NGIC to use this for market research purposes only. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be issued via the Federal Business Opportunities (http: //www.fbo.gov). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this website for any information that may pertain to this sources sought. The information provided in this sources sought is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. NGIC is seeking to identify qualified business sources capable of providing Ammunition Technician services at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Small businesses, in addition to large businesses, are strongly encouraged to provide responses to this Sources Sought Notice, in order to assist NGIC in determining the potential levels of interest, competition, and technical capability to provide the required services within the business community. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to provide a better understanding of the Army's requirement. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, with a small business size standard of $7.0 Million. Prospective sources, possessing the qualifications, capability, and experience to respond to this source's sought are invited to respond to this sources sought notice and provide comments/feedback on the draft Performance Work Statement. Submission Instructions: Responses shall not exceed 10 pages and shall be submitted via email in a Microsoft compatible format to NGICContracting@us.army.mil with the subject line "Response to Ammo-Tech Sources Sought." Interested sources should provide the following: 1) company name and address; 2) point of contact; 3) phone/e-mail; 4) CAGE Code; 5) business size and status, type of small business if applicable and; 6) capability information in response to the requirement. Responses are due no later than 5:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on Friday, March, 18 2011.
