- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is G11PS00168 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-48, effective 31 January 2011. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services and the size standard is $7.0M. Please see attachment with additional information, statement of work, provisions, and clauses. The period of performance is 20 March 2011 through 15 September 2011 and the place of performance is Kern County, California. Quotations are due no later than 05:00pm PST on 11 March 2011. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type contract. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov, as well as, the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for award.
