- US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Middle East District is contemplating a Full and Open Competition Request for Proposal (RFP) acquisition for Local National Personal Services to be performed at various locations throughout Iraq. No formal solicitation exists at this time, but one may be released at a later date depending on the responses received from this sources sought notice. If a solicitation is released at a later date, a Firm-Fixed-Price Single Award Task Order contract type is being considered. The Period of Performance will be a base period from 01 October 2011 through 29 September 2012 with one 12 month option. Responses to this RFI should not exceed 10 pages and must contain the following information: a capability statement that includes company and contact information to include business size, Cage Code and Dun & Bradstreet data; limited discussion of the company's demonstrated ability to offer experienced, trained and certified personnel capable of performing recruiting, vetting, hiring and training of a professional labor force in a contingency or non-permissive environment. NOTE: This Request for Information is for planning purposes only and is issued in accordance with FAR Clause 52.215-3. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. All responses shall be submitted to Ms. Lana Birdsell @ jean.l.birdsell@usace.army.mil or Ms. Kathy Perry @ kathy.j.perry@usace.army.mil, NLT 1200 hours, Eastern Time, 15 March 2011.
