Description
Sustaining Engineering Services Support (SESS) Solicitation Number: FA9200-10-R-Simulator_SES / FA9200-11-D-0373 NAICS: 541512 The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Amherst Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman - 1740 Wehrle Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221-7032. The requirement is for sustaining engineering services support (SESS) of all existing 53 Electronic Warfare Group (EWG) B-1 and B-52 Electronic Warfare (EW) Mission Data (MD) support systems. Amherst will provide the necessary SESS for maintaining and updating preexisting Government owned electronic warfare equipment and software. The anticipated award date is 29 April 2011. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this effort is 541512 with a small business standard of $25 million. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
