- VESSEL CHARACTERISTICS THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT AN OFFER. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY ANY COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION OF ANY SUBMISSION TO THIS MARKET SURVEY OR TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES. MSC requests information about the cost and availability for up to four (4) US Flag tugs in Guam to support the Government's requirement. Specifics are as follows: 1. PORT: Apra Harbor, Guam and Adjacent Waters 2. MISSION: This requirement is U.S. flag tugs to provide harbor tug support and ship handling services for the region of Guam. 3. CONTRACT STYLE: Time Charter Contract (Base period with 3 one year and one 11-month option period) 4. DELIVERY DATE: 1 October 2011 5. VESSEL CHARACTERISTICS: See attached. 6. Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information. a) Name of company b) Telephone Number, Fax Number, Address, and e-mail address (if available) c) Brief summary of company history relative to similar requirements. d) Name(s) of tugs e) General vessel specifications relative to above vessel requirements. f) Estimated HOURLY rates and OVERTIME rates for tugs g) Small business standing (i.e., small or large business) for NAICS 488330 7.
