Description
The Government is seeking responsible contractors interested in providing Custodial Services at the Department of Homeland Security Nebraska Avenue Complex, located at 3801 Nebraska Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20393. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The services to be performed are custodial and related services for buildings within the Nebraska Avenue Complex, totaling approximately 2.1 million square feet. These services include but are not limited to: interior (cleaning floors, fixtures, surfaces, restrooms, emptying trash), exterior (window washing, cleaning parking areas, snow and ice removal, grounds maintenance), and pest control. The Contractor shall furnish all supplies, personnel, labor, equipment, material, tools, supervision, management, and services to perform these custodial services. The Contractor is responsible for planning and scheduling work to ensure material and labor availability is adequate to complete requirements and comply with green cleaning and quality standards. This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this presolicitation synopsis is to identify to potential offerors that a solicitation is forthcoming. The contract will be solicited using the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable source selection method found in FAR Part 15. This synopsis will be posted for a minimum of fifteen days before the solicitation will be issued. All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS should be submitted in writing to contracting officer/specialist. The intent of this contract is to provide for the complete project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this program is 561720 - Janitorial Services and a business size standard of $33.5 million. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on FebBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments shall be made via FebBizOpps only. It is each prospective offeror's responsibility to check the below-listed Internet address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. No corrections and/or changes to proposals will be allowed after the proposal submittal due time and date. Potential offerors are encouraged to utilize the function in FedBizOpps to download the solicitations and amendments.
