- This requirement is for a Crew Protection System (CPS) Modification to the Standard Aircraft Towing System (SATS) under the five year firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract W58RGZ-09-D-0129. This requirement will be solicited on an other than a full and open competition basis. This modification is restricted to, NMC-WOLLARD Inc., Cage Code 44185, because Crew Protection System (CPS) Modification of the Standard Aircraft Towing System (SATS) by other than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) will result in a violation of the existing warranty. For possible subcontracting opportunities contact NMC-WOLLARD, Inc. 2021 Traux Blvd, Eau Claire, WI 54703-9693.The Government intends to solicit on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a) (2). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, subject to the availability of funds, and provided that the services and property herein described have otherwise been authorized for acquisition. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
