- NOTICE OF INTENT: The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach FL intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. 1000 Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 for all parts, labor and programming for the digital control of 52 air handler 'minimum outside air dampers' digital outputs and exhaust fan cycling of selected/coordinating exhaust fans. Siemens has been found to be the only source available to provide this service to the West Palm Beach Medical Center. This is a notice of intent for Sole Source procurement under Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The associated NAICS Code is 238220. This is a Notice of Intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than noon, March 9, 2011 and all responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
