- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with the Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, for the procurement and delivery of the F/A-18 Operational Test Program Set (OTPSs) Interconnecting Groups, which are to perform End-to-End tests on the Unit Under Test (UUT) to verify Ready-for-Issue (RFI) status and to perform diagnostic tests to isolate any failed component(s) detected. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
