- The U.S. Coast Guard, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC – PCB2) is procuring WASTE WATER TREATMENT SERVICES to be performed at the Waste Water Treatment Facility at SFO Eastern Shore, Chincoteague, VA. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, transportation and supervision necessary to perform the serviced requirements of operation, maintenance, testing, training, monitoring and reporting services for the Waste Water Treatment Facility consisting of a 6,000 gallon per day Extended Aeration Package Treatment Plant. Licenses/Permits: All required licenses and/or permits required for the State of Virginia must be identified with the responses to the solicitation along with any other pertinent information. This requirement will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-aside competition procedures. The Base Period of Performance will be begin 1 May 2011 through 30 April 2012, with four one-year option periods, not to exceed 60 months, if exercised by the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 221320 (Collection, treatment, and disposal of waste through a sewer system) with a size standard of $7.0 million. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 – Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A Firm-Fixed contract will be awarded to the responsible quoter, whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price, past performance and technical factors considered. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Any correspondence concerning this requirement shall reference Request For Quote (RFQ) Number HSCG84-11-Q-AA5376. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 24 February 2011, with a closing date for receipt of quotes by 10 March 2011, 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). No paper copies of the solicitation will be distributed. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from that site.
