- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, located in Williamsburg, South Carolina. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and one, one-year option period for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated yearly contract requirement include: Provide four (4) yard waste treatment container. Provide one (1) thirty yard (30 yd) open top containers. Provide three (3) thirty four (34) yard sealed hydraulic compactors. The dumpster will be the property of the Trash Contractor. All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 28, 2011, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about March 28, 2011; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is Unrestricted. All responsible business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
