- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Department of Veteran Affairs, William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veterans Administration Medical Center, Columbia, SC is seeking qualified sources for Primary Care Services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veteran Affairs Outpatient Clinics in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Sumter, Orangeburg, and Florence, South Carolina. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 622210 The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $34.5 M. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the responses to this sources sought synopsis. Requirement Description The Department of Veteran Affairs, Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC, is seeking qualified sources that can provide Primary Care Services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veteran Affairs Outpatient Clinics in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Sumter, Orangeburg, and Florence, South Carolina. The contract Physician shall perform the same duties as those required of any Dorn VAMC physician of similar experience and in similar duty assignments. Each physician will be expected to evaluate and treat approximately 14 patients during normal working hours. Physicians will be expected to remain on duty until all patients in the clinic have been treated and released. Submission requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised Provide a copy of Central Contract Registration (CCR). Must reflect Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE), and Small Business Administration Certification of Small Business Type. Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past specialized experience and technical competence in fabricating similar products, up to three (3) past projects for which your firm was the prime contractor. The SCO should be more than 5 pages in length. If inadequate responses are received, this solicitation may be issued for full and open competition.
