- W91LDJ0342K107 is being issued as a Request for Quote for a Firm Fixed Price contract, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48. The associated NAICS Code for this acquisition is 811310 and the small business standard size is $7 Million annual revenue. A quote is requested for the following items. Items were submerged in water, or received possible water damage. Item descriptions are only noted to define the exact specifications needed by the end user. Line Item 0001: Repair and assemble of a Caterpillar D7G Bulldozer, serial No. 61G01042, to working order. Bulldozer is currently in disassembled state. Assemble Machine. Gaskets, hoses, bearings, seals, filters, heater groups, fan groups, batteries, cab parts, wiring, floor spacers, insulation etc. Repair Engine, transmission, torque convertor, final drives, steering clutch and brakes. Reseal hyd tank and replace hyd oil cooler. Repair Hyd cylinders. Line Item 0002: Repair and assemble of a Caterpillar D7G Bulldozer, serial No. 61G00984, to working order. Bulldozer is currently in disassembled state. Assemble Machine. Gaskets, hoses, bearings, seals, filters, heater groups, fan groups, batteries, wiring, floor spacers, insulation etc. Repair Engine, transmission, torque convertor, final drives, steering clutch and brakes. Reseal hyd tank and replace hyd oil cooler. Repair Hyd cylinders. (Hyd lift cylinders and ripper cylinders). Quote should include any applicable transportation costs of disassembled machines to shop location, and transportation of completed bulldozers to Ft. Greely, AK 99731. (Detailed deleivery address to be provided in contract award) All equipment must be delivered NLT 60 days After Receipt of Award. If unable to meet this delivery deadline, please specify in quote the estimated shipping date to Ft Greely. There will be a site visit to view the two CAT D7G Tractors on 10 February 2011 at 10:30 AM (Alaska Time). This will be the only opportunity to view the tractors prior to the submittal of quotes. The site visit location is 6450 Arctic Blvd., Anchorage Alaska. As a reminder, the tractors are currently in a disassembled state. All vendors interested in attending the site visit must notify this office no later than 11:00 AM (Alaska Time), 4 February 2011. **NOTE questions submitted by vendors, are being currently researched. Answers will be posted ASAP, via a MOD to this solicitation** Quotes must include in writing any warranty information that is associated with the tractor repair. All vendors must have a current CCR and ORCA in the system. The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: Price, delivery, technical capabilities, and warranty. Delivery, technical capabilities, and warranty offered are equal to price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-- Commercial Items, with their quotes. Offeror shall include a completed copy of DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act Balance of Payments Program Certificate, if applicable.
