- *NOTE: THIS IS FOR NOTIFICATION PURPOSES ONLY NO SOLICITATION HAS BEEN ISSUED YET. PLEASE HOLD ALL QUESTIONS/INQUIRIES/COMMENTS UNTIL AFTER SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform equipment maintenance and repair services (including preventive maintenance, battery maintenance and exchange; load test and inspection, repair and overhaul, modifications, spot painting, welding, glass, and upholstery service), for equipment and vehicles located at the Blue Grass Army Depot located in Richmond, Kentucky by means of a proposed combination firm fixed price items and time and material repairs contract. The anticipated period of performance under this contract will be a base year and, assuming satisfactory performance, up to four additional option years for a total of up to five years. ACC-RI intends to issue a Request for Quotation Solicitation, W52P1J-11-T-3037 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition.army.mil on or about March 11, 2011 with opening approximately 30 days from issuance. This proposed contract will be entirely restricted under the North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310 as a Small Business set-aside classification. The Small Business size standard for this classification is $7,000,000 or less. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). If contractors are not registered in CCR, then they cannot be awarded DOD Contracts. Contractors may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors must also submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network (BPN). The BPN allows offerors to complete the mandatory Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Interested firms are invited to submit quotes after this proposed solicitation is issued and posted to the web. Amendments applicable to this proposed solicitation will be posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites daily for the issuance and any changes to the proposed solicitation. No hard copies are available.
