- HSHQDC-11-C-00019 J&A #022-11 The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), would like to convene a workshop to discuss challenges related to developing, enhancing, and integrating analytic capabilities into a common framework spanning the Homeland Security Enterprise. The workshop conference will be conducted on behalf of the Analytical Capability Development Working Group (ACDWG). The ACDWG was established to increase awareness around existing analytical capabilities; to spur collaborations that reduce stove piping and duplication of analytical efforts; create consistent, transparent, defensive, and shared knowledge; and to streamline development efforts at all levels. The ACDWG aims to reduce the lifecycle and capital investment costs of analytic efforts while continually enhancing the ability to inform decision makers within mandatory timeframes, fulfilling a key mandate of the Bottom-Up Review.
