Description
THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue under Order ** under Contract N00019-10-G-0006 to procure Follow-On Support/Integrated Logistics Support (FOS/ILS) for the Joint Standoff Weapon program. The subject contract will be issued to the Raytheon Company, Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ. The resultant Order will be Cost Plus Fixed Fee to include Technical Data and Firm Fixed Price. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Raytheon currently is in theater supporting the above operations with all the associated manpower, equipment, certifications and logistical processing. Under FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, Raytheon is the only source due to the JSOW weapon incorporating unique hardware and software design elements that cannot be satisfied by commercial off-the-shelf components (e.g. Seeker, Raptor Navigator, etc.). Raytheon has the necessary knowledge, experience and access to the technical data necessary to fulfill the Government's need and meet its scheduled requirements. Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from Raytheon. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
