Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Caliper Life Sciences, Inc., 68 Elm Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748-1602, for continued yearly maintenance on an IVIS 200, serial ISO06242N4014, the coverage to start on April 1, 2011. The coverage includes unlimited priority telephone technical support, unlimited priority on-site repair services within 48-72, one pre-scheduled on-site preventative maintenance and refresher training visit, discount on LI 4.0 software, and 10 percent off reagent and accessories during coverage period. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
