- Forest Inventory Analysis (FIA) The intent of this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) solicitation is to procure professional level services to be used in various combinations to install permanent sample plots, re-measure existing plots, and to measure and record data that describes those plots. The Service is to commence at time of award and extend up to a total of 36 months. The work to be performed under this solicitation will be offered to the Contractor via "TASK ORDERS" for specified projects after the initial IDIQ contract awards. The purpose of establishing the permanent plots is to use the resultant data to develop a comprehensive inventory of the forest resources of the National Forests within Region 5. All ground inventory plots shall be installed as described in "Field Instructions for the Annual Inventory of Washington, Oregon and California 2010" including supplements and revisions. The solicitation is a Small Business set aside with a NAICS code of 115310. The solicitation will be posted at this site on or about February 28, 2011
