- Solicitation Amendment A001 Amendment A001: Is attached please see Attachment for details. Note the due date for proposals has been extended indefinite. An amendment will follow to establish new delivery date. MODIFICATION: The General Services Administration has reactivated this solicitation and established new dates concerning this procurement. The Solicitation will be issued Friday, January 14, 2011. The pre-proposal conference will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011. The proposal due date is Monday, February 14, 2011. If you have previously requested the solicitation documents, there is no need to provide an additional request. All other terms and conditions of the original posting shall remain unchanged. MODIFICATION: The solicitation will be available on or about November 19, 2010. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted on or about December 1, 2010. The solicitation package shall confirm the date, time, and location of this meeting. The objective of this project is to renovate existing bathrooms located on the 4th and 5th floors of the Lewis F. Powell Federal Courthouse Annex Building. The renovation will include the installation of energy efficient plumbing and electrical fixtures to meet the Federal Energy Management Program and the relocation of toilets, sinks, and associated rough plumbing to meet current ADA requirements for Public bathrooms. It is the intent of this project to provide finishes that will reflect the over all historical character of the building. The contract performance period has been determined to be 120 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 236220. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside. The estimated start date for services is January 10, 2011. The solicitation will be available on or about November 4, 2010. The estimated cost range for tihs project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This will be a firm fixed price contract and the procurement method will be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposal. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted on or about November 18, 2010. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified Building Information (SBU). Before release of SBU information, for reasons of security, the requester must complete and sign a "Request for Sensitive But Unclassified Documents" (Form B) included in this notice. In addition, the following information must be submitted and/or provided by the requester via the spaces provided in the notice: 1) copy of business license; 2) company's Dun and Bradstreet number ( Obtain a DUNS number for free. Call Dun & Bradstreet at 800-333-0505 ); 3) valid tax identification number; and 4) a valid picture state driver's license (for persons picking up SBU documents). The notice shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. E -mail and/or fax copies will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user. The contracting officer will then release the documents to the requester. Upon receipt of documents, the requester must ensure that further distribution of the subject documents are preceded by the execution of the document security notice. This includes all subcontractors and suppliers. Upon receipt of plans and specifications, contractors shall familiarize themselves with the handling requirements for SBU Documents and the disposal requirements for SBU documents. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (i.e. any amendments) will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web site.
