- This is not a solicitation, but a notice of a Contract Action. DLA Strategic Materials intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed-price requirements contract, to obtain metals and material reports from Roskill Information Services, Ltd. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (iii) (B), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, these reports are needed by the agency and are available from this responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy the needs of the agency or will result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. A determination not to compete this action is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries should be directed no later than 4:00 PM (EST), Wednesday, 23 February 2011, via e-mail, to Felicia Long, Contract Specialist at felicia.long@dla.mil. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice; whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the DLA Strategic Material's requirement. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by calling the Contract Specialist at (703) 767-5482.
