- JB Andrews Aircraft Hangar Door Maintenance and Repair Aircraft Hangar Door Maintenance and Repair. Joint Base Andrews, MD is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) service contract for Aircraft Hangar Door Maintenance and Repair. This service acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13. The contractor will be encouraged to submit quotes for all services solicited (provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to maintain, inspect, and repair aircraft hangar doors). The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 811310. The period of performance for the base year contract will be from 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012 with the potential of four (4) Option Years. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Offers shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any offer preparation costs. The solicitation notice will be posted on or about 23 February 2011.
