- Description
- This project consists of Level 3 Road Maintenance and furnishing & installing 1,000 Tons of CDOT Class "6" Road Base on FR2250 Picketwire Canyon Road located on the Pinon Canyon Manuever Site, including mobilization, removing or repairing slides and slumps, and blading and shaping traveled way. PROJECT LOCATION - This project is located on the Timpas Ranger District in the Comanche National Grassland. The road can be located from the west by traveling northwest out of Trinidad on Hwy 350 (approx. 30mi.) to Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site Main Gate. Once on the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site travel east on MSR-1 & MSR-1a (approx. 35.0mi.) to the Project Site. The road can also be located from the east by traveling south out of La Junta on Hwy 109 (approx. 13.5mi.) until the County Road 802 intersection. Travel west on County Road 802 (approx. 8 mi.) until the Cnty 802/Rourke Ranch Road intersection. Travel south on Rourke Ranch Road (approx. 9 mi.) to the military gate. Project location is approx. 1 mile south of the military gate. All personnel will need Forest Service escort on military land. No site visit will be scheduled. Period of performance: (60 days) approximately 4/4/2011 - 6/3/2011 Offerors must be registered in CCR in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance to FAR 52.204.8 Offerors who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award. All solicitation documents will be posted to this website approximately February 25, 2011. Proposals will be due on approximately March 25, 2011, 3:00pm MST, actual date will be listed in the solicitation.
