Description
RFI Questions CNC Nondisclosure/Noncompete Request for Information Document This Request for Information is to initiate early exchanges of information between the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and industry as defined in FAR Part 15.201. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), BUT RATHER A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) from industry that will allow HUD to more refine its requirement in such a manner that will foster greater competition and improve industries ability to respond. There is no commitment by HUD to issue a solicitation, make an award, or be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of this effort. HUD is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided, and no basis for claims against HUD shall arise as a result of a response to this Request for Information. Attachment (1) is the detail description of the Request for Information. Attachment (2) is the Nondisclosure/noncompete between HUD and CNC. Attachment (3) are the questions that HUD would like each interested party to complete as part of their response to the Request for Information. HUD requests interested vendors to provide a brief capability statement of no more than five (5) pages plus no more than twenty (20) pages in response to the survey questions found at Attachment 1. Within the twenty-five (25) total pages allowed, respondents are invited to address any subject/issue(s) of interest beyond answering the survey questions that might be helpful to HUD in conducting its market research. HUD will not take telephone calls regarding this RFI. Questions regarding HUDNet should be reserved for Industry Day. HUD requests interested vendors to electronically submit the brief capability statement/survey responses to HUD Contracting Office by 1600; 15 March 2011. All responses are requested to be submitted on CD to Jimmy Scott at the address provided below.
