- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in support of ProgramExecutive Office, Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), Navy EnterpriseResource Planning (Navy ERP) Program Office PMW 220, intends to issue a solesource RFP, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, toGeneral Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) of Fairfax, VA for thecontinued technical program support for realization and deployment services ofthe Navy ERP solution. This synopsis is for a bridge effort. These services are currently beingprovidedunder N00178-04-D-4012/task order EH01, whose period of performance isending March 31, 2011. Competitive solicitation N00024-10-R-3479 wasreleased in January 11, 2011 as a follow-on competitive to task order EH01;however, it is not ready for award. The anticipated period of performance ofthebridge is April 1, 2011 through 30 September 2011. However, the bridge willmost likely be funded only until the follow-on competitive task order isawarded. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intendsto solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302;whilethe synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals, all responsiblesourcesmay submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will beconsidered by the agency if received within 15 days after publication of thesynopsis; information received will normally be considered solely for thepurpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement; and adetermination not to compete the proposed action based upon responses tothis notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
